A skin clinic in Myeongdong, planned around the visitor

Myeongdong is where many visitors to Seoul look for skin treatment. This page explains what to expect at DayBeau Clinic Myeongdong: who treats you, how language is handled, how a plan is made, and how timing and fees work on a short stay.

Information supplied by DayBeau Clinic Myeongdong. Lead physician: Dr. Kim Hyun-ji, Representative Director. Treatment is decided with the doctor at consultation.

Language

Understanding what is being done to your skin

For many visitors, the anxious part of treatment abroad is not the procedure but not knowing what is happening. At this clinic an interpreter sits in with the doctor and stays in the treatment room, explaining each step and what it will feel like.

The front desk handles Chinese, Japanese, English and Thai. Consultations with the doctor are held through an interpreter who sits in the room — and stays for the treatment itself, so you are told what is happening at each step in your own language and can say at any point if something is uncomfortable.

Privacy

A room of your own

Every treatment space is a single room, so you are treated comfortably with your privacy protected. The clinic occupies the basement level (B1) of the Hyde Park building on Namdaemun-ro.

Planning

Design before treatment

For treatments that need design, such as lifting and fillers, the concern areas, left–right balance and the change you want are checked before anything is planned. The plan is shared with you, and during treatment the doctor checks that it is being followed. The purpose of a treatment, the change you can expect, its limits, recovery and possible side effects are explained. Priorities are set around your skin, your health, your budget and your schedule — and a decision to postpone or not to treat is respected.

FAQ

Questions visitors ask

Is the clinic in Myeongdong?
Yes — on Namdaemun-ro between Myeongdong and Euljiro, in the basement level (B1) of the Hyde Park building at 84 Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu. Euljiro 1-ga Station (Line 2) and Myeongdong Station (Line 4) are both within walking distance.
Will I understand what is happening during treatment?
An interpreter sits in with the doctor at consultation and stays in the room for the treatment, telling you what each step is and what it will feel like. The front desk handles Chinese, Japanese, English and Thai.
Are rooms shared?
No. Every treatment space at the clinic is a single room.
Who plans the treatment?
The doctor, at a direct consultation after a skin analysis. For lifting, fillers and threads a design is drawn and shown to you before treatment starts.
Can I be treated on a short trip?
Most lifting devices and botox leave little to recover from. Injections can bruise for one to two weeks, and fractional laser or subcision need several days — the doctor helps you fit treatment to your dates. One-day programmes combine several treatments in a single visit.
How are fees handled?
Regular and current prices are published on the price list. The full cost is explained before treatment, including whether anything extra could be charged. Overseas cards and cash are accepted; cosmetic treatment carries 10% VAT.
The information on this page is general and is not medical advice. It does not replace a consultation with a doctor. Every procedure carries risk, suitability differs between individuals and an outcome cannot be guaranteed. Prices are in Korean won and exclude 10% VAT; event prices can change.
