Filler Dissolving (Hyaluronidase)

What it is

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid (HA). It is used to remove HA filler that has migrated, looks uneven or is no longer wanted.

Product

The clinic uses a high-purity liquid hyaluronidase chosen to minimise the risk of an allergic reaction. It is available whether the filler was placed at this clinic or elsewhere.

Aftercare

As with any injection, bruising, swelling or tenderness can appear and may last one to two weeks. Avoid alcohol, smoking and saunas for a while to reduce the risk of inflammation, and tell the clinic beforehand about any drug allergy.
