Scar Subcision

How it works

Subcision uses a specially shaped needle (NOKOR) at the boundary between the dermis and the fat beneath. It cuts the scar tissue that tethers the skin downwards, so depressed scars can rise. PDRN is added to support healing.

Course

Three or more sessions at one-month intervals are recommended — useful to plan if you visit Seoul regularly.

What to expect

Bruising and swelling can last one to two weeks. Avoid alcohol, smoking and saunas for a while to reduce the risk of inflammation, and tell the clinic beforehand about any drug allergy.
