The approach

Fuller lips are popular, but too much can easily look overdone. The clinic designs lip filler around your existing lip shape and the harmony of the whole face, and pays attention to how the lips feel as well as how they look. The question is not how big, but what suits you.

What can be changed

Thin lips, lip shape and volume, and the line of the mouth; filler can be combined with mouth-corner or lip-flip botox in a package.

Safety and aftercare

Lips are done with a fine needle, as the risk of vessel blockage is lower here than in other areas; the doctor checks for vessel injury throughout and the clinic calls the next day. As with any injection, bruising, swelling or tenderness can appear and may last one to two weeks. Avoid alcohol, smoking and saunas for a while to reduce the risk of inflammation, and tell the clinic beforehand about any drug allergy.
