DAY CELL (NovaStem)

What it is

DAY CELL — the Daybeau Immune Stem programme — uses a NovaStem device with a three-chamber structure to concentrate various cells and growth factors from the patient's own blood. The concentrate is then given by injection to the face or scalp, or by intravenous infusion, with plasma applied to the skin followed by soothing care.

How the clinic describes it

The clinic positions DAY CELL as an anti-ageing and regeneration programme for skin quality and scar recovery, approached through an understanding of cells and the body's mechanisms.

Who cannot have it

It is not given to people with a malignant tumour or those taking immunosuppressants for an immune disease, and is difficult with uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease or liver disease. Afterwards: keep warm, avoid alcohol, smoking, pain patches and anti-inflammatories for two weeks, moisturise and use sunscreen, and contact the clinic at once if there is marked swelling or a rash. Bruising and swelling can last one to two weeks.
